Forget gold, frankincense and myrrh, tickets for the 2018 London Classic Car Show are the perfect Christmas present. Moreover, unlike others, these are gifts that will continue delivering pleasure well into the New Year.

The capital city’s premier celebration of automotive culture and nostalgia is staged at the state-of-the-art ExCeL venue from 15-18 February and offers a wide choice of tickets including both potential stocking fillers and more substantial gifts for under the Christmas tree. And, with the school spring half-term holiday in mind, family tickets are also available for those wanting to share the festive love.

Crammed with innovative crowd-pleasing features, mouth-watering classic cars and a long list of celebrity visitors, The London Classic Car Show is a great day out. Adding to the appeal, following the huge success of the three previous events, the 2018 edition is gearing up to be even bigger and better than ever before.

Among the unmissable event’s unique features is The Grand Avenue, a highway running through the centre of the exhibition along which many exceptional classic cars parade the length of the Show.

Previous showcases have been ‘The Perfect 10’, ‘6 Nations’ and ‘A Century of Motoring’. In 2018, the focus will be on ‘Specials’ – a theme which will celebrate 60 rare beasts steeped in history and mystique owing to their unique designs and often outlandish performance.

Other highlights will include the return of Car Club Square – featuring popular and affordable classics – as well as Speakers’ Corner, an open forum where high-profile and expert guests are interviewed about a wide range of subjects.

In total, more than 700 of the world’s finest classic cars will be on display, making the not-be-be-missed London Classic Car Show the capital city’s premier automotive showcase of its genre.

Prices start at £25 for single adult entry on Friday, Saturday or Sunday when purchased as gifts in advance while a child’s ticket (aged 6-16) costs £20; those under six-years-old are admitted free. Late afternoon entry admission is an even more affordable option.

Providing yet more value, all tickets also include entry to the London Classic Car Show’s sister show Historic Motorsport International, which celebrates the UK’s leading role in all areas of historic motor sport.

For those seeking a superior gift, VIP Premium tickets are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at £55. These include fast-track entry, a Show Handbook and access to the Grand Avenue Club with relaxed seating, private catering and a bar offering two free drinks. Next February, Premium ticket-holders will also be able to enjoy the best-ever views of the unique Grand Avenue from the new Bridge Viewing Area.

Editors’ notes:

The London Classic Car Show: The London Classic Car Show was launched in 2015 at ExCel London as the capital city’s premier showcase of the thriving classic car community. It was hailed an immediate success. Featuring special displays putting the spotlight on the creations of F1 design guru Adrian Newey, TV star James May’s ‘Cars That Changed The World’ and The Grand Avenue – an innovative in-door automotive runway along which classic cars could be paraded – the inaugural four-day show attracted more than 25,000 visitors and received notably positive feedback from all quarters. Building on that success, for 2016 the LCCS doubled in size and included a new Car Club Square feature, introducing more affordable classics as well as a special tribute to the McLaren F1 supercar. Attendance also saw a significant rise to 33,000 visitors. The LCCS continued to grow in 2017, with more than 37,000 visitors enjoying an even larger showcase now including the addition of Historic Motor Sport International.

Brand Events UK: The London Classic Car Show is organised and operated by Brand Events. Since its formation in 1999, Brand Events has launched some of the UK’s most popular consumer events including Top Gear Live, CarFest festivals for BBC Children in Need and, most recently, Fast & Furious Live. Brand Events is widely recognised as the current most successful innovator in consumer events and exhibitions and has been awarded a number of industry accolades in recognition of this.
